WHAT TO EXPECT

At Connect Christian Church, you’ll find a casual environment with friendly people, authentic worship, and Bible-based preaching.  We’re imperfect people doing our best to pursue a perfect God.  Everything we do is designed to help us in our vision to glorify God by making disciples who make disciples!

During our weekend worship gatherings, you’ll see people in jeans and t-shirts sitting beside people in suits, so come in whatever makes you comfortable.  Our four worship experiences have the same message but are different in their worship styles. 

All of our experiences have a moment where we pause to take communion and to give an offering.  We take communion to remember the body and blood of Jesus, as He died on the cross, was buried in the tomb, and was resurrected on the third day.  We give an offering because God is our provider and we choose to return a portion of our blessing to the church to further the growth of the Kingdom in Carl Junction and around the world.

We have Children’s Ministry programming offered during our services. We believe that it is important for teenagers to worship with their families, so we encourage them to join their parents for our worship services.

Our Student Ministry meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm in our Gymnasium.

We work hard to create environments that reflect our three commitments:

  1. We COME to the Father, as Jesus called us to.  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”  (Matthew 11:28)

  2. We THRIVE together, as the writer of Hebrews encouraged us to.  “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…but encouraging one another…”  (Hebrews 10:25)

  3. We GO to the world, as Jesus commanded us to.  “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit…”  (Matthew 28:19)
